Statistical study on Aboriginal workers in construction

The Commission de la construction du Québec publishes the 2021 statistical study of the Aboriginal workforce in the construction industry.

In 2021, there were 1,372 active Aboriginal workers, representing 0.72% of the total workforce, a slight increase from 2020.

To promote the inclusion of First Nations and Inuit in the construction industry, the CCQ is currently holding a collaborative process with its partners to identify structuring solutions that will have an impact on the Aboriginal workers.
