The Revue de l’activité dans l’industrie de la construction giving the statistics for activity on construction sites in Québec in the third quarter of 2021 is now available online.
Among the highlights are that activity continued to grow in comparison to last year. A total of 51.5 million hours were worked. This is a 6.3% increase over the same quarter in 2020. During this period, 143,108 employees were working on construction sites, 6.8% more than in the preceding year.
In addition, a special section was inserted for this quarter to make comparisons with 2019, thus avoiding the more problematic comparisons with 2020, when sites were closed for several weeks.
