When you are taking an examination, you must prove your identity using one official and valid (unexpired) piece of identification with photograph from the following list:

IMPORTANT: To be accepted, the documents listed below must give the following information: your last name, your first name, your date of birth, and your sex.
- Québec health insurance card or equivalent health insurance card from another province or territory of Canada
- Canadian permanent resident card
- Canadian citizenship card or certificate
- Name change certificate issued by the Directeur de l’état civil
- Birth certificate or copy of act of birth issued by the Directeur de l’état civil
- Birth certificate from another province or territory of Canada
- Birth certificate from another country. It must be translated if the document is not in French or English
- Canadian passport or passport from another country. It must be translated if the document is not in French or English
- Driver’s licence from Québec or from another province or territory of Canada
